Lovely apartment

What a lovely apartment, don't you think? Can you believe it measures only 20 sqm? I'm a bit of a claustrophobic so I'm not sure I could survive in such space, but still, i think the place is so pretty. I especially love the vintage feel. Tell me what you think!
Oh, and happy weekend my dear readers!

Lovely clay illustrations

How amazing are these clay illustrations by Irma Gruenholz? I love them all and I think they would look great hanging on the wall.

Crayon carvings

What do you think of these newest carvings by the uber talented Diem Chau? If you have noticed, those are the 12 Chinese Zodiac signs. Such work requires so much patience and talent that I could never imagine myself having! So which sign are you? I'm a tiger!

Check out the close ups here.

P.S. I don't have access to blogger in my office computer anymore that's why I haven't been regularly checking up on your blogs, which I usually do during lunch time. I'm looking forward to reading your blogs during the short break!

Cut & Paste

This stunning collection is a collaboration between Kiki Van Eijk and Secondome director Claudia Pignatale. It is inspired by "an imaginary world where everything is mixed, combined and questioned." I love it and I think that all the pieces, though very diverse, really came together; and that first photo just about captured it. What do you think ladies?

Clock jar

What a pretty piece of work! This clock jar by designer Oren Hetzroni is inspired by his childhood memories of capturing insects in a jar. Don't we all have those memories?

I'm not sure how it works though; I think it's just for display. I like the one with the red/white tablecloth, because it just feels so homey. What do you think?

A hearty Monday!

These limited edition cans are designed by Tom Gauld to raise awareness of The Heart Truth, a women's heart health program. Aren't they cute? Plus the following video is one of a series of animations for the campaign. Check it out and tell me what you think!

I'm off to have breakfast now, while keeping track of the Oscars online. I'm sure you're all glued! Have a lovely Monday!

Stick stack chair

I would probably not have one in my home, but I've to say this brings a smile to my face. Why? Cos I've always wanted to invent something so simple yet (even a bit) clever and useful (like toothpick c'mon!!!) This one is a wall sticker that marks the spot to put your magazines/ newspapers/ books, after which can double as chair! Though it's definitely nothing like toothpick or post-it, I just still can't help but envy whoever cooked this up. At least s/he has ideas!! haha.

What do you think ladies, cool or just blah?

PS.2. Is that really the number 96 on the followers corner? Wow, I'm so, so flattered! Hmm, probably host my first giveaway (as a thank you!) if I reach 100. What do you think? Yay or nay?

The Waldorfista fairies

I don't know if you have seen her blog or her work so I thought I'd share. The lovely and very talented Yvonne over at The Waldorfista makes the prettiest little fairies! That one in the third photo was even made to look like her niece! I wonder if she'd personalize one for me, can't wait for her to build her own Etsy shop! haha. What do you think dolls? Check her blog to see more of her beautiful creations.

Deck the walls

How beautiful are these wallpaper designs by Trove? I'm pretty amazed, especially with all the walls in our house so unexcitingly plain. Any of you a fan of wallpapers? Or would you rather be more creative with paint?

Strip Tea

The tea submarine was a definite hit last week and some readers even said that it made them wish they drink tea. Well, I think reactions will be going the opposite direction with this hilarious teabags from Donkey Products that feature half-naked men and women enjoying one warm, relaxing bath (in your tea!). Although it's just fun, I'm not too sure if I could seriously drink my tea with these things floating around, especially that hairy-chested man! Ack!

What do you think my dear readers? Does it make you say 'cool' or just plain 'eeww'?

What do you lovelies think?

Valentine stamp

Valentine's day is just around the corner so everyone's busy looking around for the perfect cards. Last week, I posted these romantic handmade valentines and I was thinking, if I'm buying handmade, why don't I just hand-make it myself! It's tough work but I think that's what makes it more special. Although having a little assistant, like this cute handmade heart balloon rubber stamp from Cupcake Tree, does not hurt!

Do you make your own valentines or do you just leave it to the experts?

Oh, and check out these lovely printables from The English Muffin.
