Monday wish

It's soo warm and windy here! I so wish I could just relax in a hammock (which I have yet to install) at our front porch and just sip some cold lemonade! Isn't that what summer should look like? Alas, it's the exact opposite for me. Work, work, work! I hope you my lovelies are having more success in the 'relaxing' department... are you?

These photos by Steve Hoskins are soo amazing! I just love how clear these shots are. And these pets are the absolute cutest! I wish I could have Chico, our chocolate brown Labrador, stay still for even just five seconds so I could take a decent photo. Haha. What pets do you have?

P.S. There was a 6.6m earthquake yesterday here in the city. Felt it from the 25th floor of the building, but only mildly so there wasn't even any alarm raised.

No such thing as rubbish

This new campaign by Surfrider Foundation Europe is so far from being rubbish. You know I love seeing great advertisements and I think the idea here is very simple, but everything came out amazing. And the photos are superb! I really hope this gets people to do their part in keeping the ocean clean.

I'm baaack!

I'm back everyone!!! Sorry for the little blogging hiatus, but as you know, I came from a short vacation and am still hung over the sight and smell of the amazing sea. I stayed in three different islands, well, the other one is a cove that can be reached through a six-hour hike (see some parts of the trail below), but i went for the 30-minute boat ride instead. It was really an amazing trip and I thought I'd share some photos with you, enjoy!

P.S. I forgot to put sunscreen on my face (of all!!!) on the second day so I'm super red/dark right now (peeling too!), and moisturizer and make-up wont cut it. Any advice?

To the beach!

Hi everyone! Guess who's going to the beach? Me of course! I'm so excited to finally have a little vacation, so I'm not so sure I could sleep tonite! Haha. It will be a four-hour bus ride plus a 30-minute boat ride to this secluded paradise so I'll be up real early tomorrow. Be back home Sunday afternoon. Wish me a lovely trip!

It's a crazy Monday!

Ooh, my aching back! So I'm proud to say that I finished the 5k run, yay! There were like 12,000 people, so it was hella crazy. Funny story during the run, Jay was motivating me by asking me to at least get a faster time than the girl with a leather handbag who was a feet ahead of us. He was like "c'mon hon, she has a fancy leather handbag! On a road race! You so got to be faster than her!" And I was of course! Haha.

Anyway, it's Monday and I thought I'd start with something nice and a bit odd with these Marithé and François Girbaud S/S 2010 “This is a Crazy World” photos. Watya think?

Happy weekend everyone! What will you be up to during the break? Jay and I will be joining (so not competing!) this road run under the 5k category on Sunday, so I'm pretty sure I will be too weak to wake up Monday morning! Haha. Unlike Jay, I'm not much of a runner so I would totally need all the rest Saturday to be able to drag myself to the finish line. Wish me luck! Have you gotten any exercise lately? These Polaroid images from the Band of Outsiders Spring/Summer 2010 Lookbook are simply stunning! It stars Dave Franco, Donald Glover and Leslie Mann, in a Marina environment in California. I just love the simplicity as well as the air of fun and comfort in every shot. Makes me daydream of a little getaway full of joy and relaxation. I'm sure everyone's thinking the same!
