Hello everyone!

Hi everyone! I know, I know, I've been such a bad blogger lately. Actually, I haven't been a blogger at all for quite some time. Just been really busy traveling (work :( not leisure) and getting sick (cough, cough). I haven' even had that much time to even browse the web...

Anyway! I just want to say hi to all of you and remind you that I haven't abandoned you my lovelies! I'll try to put in scheduled posts when I get even a short free time. For those looking for me and wondering what has happened to me, thanks so much for the concern!

Summer dress-up

I wish I could look like this in the office now that it's Summer season once again (I know, it's still Springtime in your areas). I really need a wardrobe makeover and I hope these pieces would just magically appear in my closet; I'm sure you're all thinking the same! Tomorrow's look

You must already know that tomorrow, aside from being the announcement day of the spring/summer giveaway winners, is my birthday. And since Summer has already started here (plus it's dress-down Friday in the office), I just want to look relaxed and chic at the same time on my special day. And these two looks got my fancy when I saw it at Strawberry Beard just about ten minutes ago. It's from the Built by Wendy 2010 Spring Collection. I really love it and I wish I could find similar pieces in my closet to pull it off. Now, which look will I go with?

What a darling!

I don't wear flats much cos I'm quite petite, so I love adding a little height through day after day of heels and platforms. But lately, I've been quite obsessed with moccasins. I recently bought two pairs and I love 'em! So comfy and perky! So when I came across Darlingtonia Moccasin Company , I was totally smitten! They have the cutest handmade pairs ever! Love!

Pretty Funny Wednesday

Wednesday has always been my favorite day of the week. Why you ask? Because it's more relaxed and everything moves faster during midweek. Monday and Tuesday blues are gone, Thursday is one step away and next thing you know it's Friday once again! Does anyone feel the same or am I being odd again?

It's a crazy Monday!

Ooh, my aching back! So I'm proud to say that I finished the 5k run, yay! There were like 12,000 people, so it was hella crazy. Funny story during the run, Jay was motivating me by asking me to at least get a faster time than the girl with a leather handbag who was a feet ahead of us. He was like "c'mon hon, she has a fancy leather handbag! On a road race! You so got to be faster than her!" And I was of course! Haha.

Anyway, it's Monday and I thought I'd start with something nice and a bit odd with these Marithé and François Girbaud S/S 2010 “This is a Crazy World” photos. Watya think?

PS.1 Jay is now bragging, telling his friends that his girlfriend can beat their girlfriends in a 5k run! And they accepted the challenge! Oh Jay, please don't be TOO proud of me! Haha.

Band of Outsiders

These Polaroid images from the Band of Outsiders Spring/Summer 2010 Lookbook are simply stunning! It stars Dave Franco, Donald Glover and Leslie Mann, in a Marina environment in California. I just love the simplicity as well as the air of fun and comfort in every shot. Makes me daydream of a little getaway full of joy and relaxation. I'm sure everyone's thinking the same!

Loving this dress

Saw this Spring 2010 Erdem dress from My Life in Style and I immediately fell in love with it. I just love florals and this dress gave a new meaning to detailing. I wish I could find a version for less, because this one's too pricey for me. There's a nearby store though that sells those types of applique so i think a little DIY is possible. I've done this before, but not on a whole dress, just around the collar of this plain white top to give it some color. I still have it, but it has already turned off-white, so I don't wear it much.

What do you think of this dress? Are you lovin' it too? Also, have you done any fashion DIY lately?

Lacy not racy

I heard that lingerie will be huge this spring 2010 (see that little slip showing in Marion Cotillard's Globes 2009 dress) and though such trend is quite in the danger zone for me, I have to take my hat off to this lovely lady (Heather of The Sound of Lace) for rocking this look:
See those lacy bloomers she wore over her tights; smartly paired with a loose top and crisp blazer. What a pretty way to add a feminine touch. She just really pulled it off! So chic!
