Vintage obsession

I am totally obsessed with this oh-so-chic vintage collection by Lauren Moffatt! I am sure you have all seen this, but I wanted to place it here to remind me that I so have to recreate these looks! Oh that oversized denim jacket is gorge! Which is your favorite?

Lovely apartment

What a lovely apartment, don't you think? Can you believe it measures only 20 sqm? I'm a bit of a claustrophobic so I'm not sure I could survive in such space, but still, i think the place is so pretty. I especially love the vintage feel. Tell me what you think!
Oh, and happy weekend my dear readers!

Hello everyone!

Hi everyone! I know, I know, I've been such a bad blogger lately. Actually, I haven't been a blogger at all for quite some time. Just been really busy traveling (work :( not leisure) and getting sick (cough, cough). I haven' even had that much time to even browse the web...

Anyway! I just want to say hi to all of you and remind you that I haven't abandoned you my lovelies! I'll try to put in scheduled posts when I get even a short free time. For those looking for me and wondering what has happened to me, thanks so much for the concern!

For the mean time, tell me what you think of this African Sunset necklace that a friend of mine is planning to buy over at Need Supply. I think it's gorge! Plus you can buy the striped wedges from my previous post there too. Check it out!

Miss you all!

xoxo,
Andy

Summer shoes

I saw these amazing summer shoes from Shoptometrist and immediately had to share! I know, Summer is the time for more relaxing (yet pretty!) flats and flip-flops. But I definitely cant say no these beauties! Can you?

Pendant lights

I am soo exhausted right now from nonstop business trips, meetings, events, etc., so all I want to do now that I finally have a few hours to sit and relax is browse the net, find some pretty and funny things and pretend I haven't been out of the blogging world for more than a week (too tired to even sleep!)

So! How are you my lovelies? I hope you didn't think I have abandoned you. Just really super duper busy.

Anyway! I am loving these pendant lights, soo pretty!! What a nice idea to dress up a room, especially during events, weddings even. What do you think?

Monday wish

It's soo warm and windy here! I so wish I could just relax in a hammock (which I have yet to install) at our front porch and just sip some cold lemonade! Isn't that what summer should look like? Alas, it's the exact opposite for me. Work, work, work! I hope you my lovelies are having more success in the 'relaxing' department... are you?

Happy Monday!

Oh and before I forget, Easter giveaway winner announcement!

The woodsy lamp goes to:

Congratulations dear!

Summer dress-up

I wish I could look like this in the office now that it's Summer season once again (I know, it's still Springtime in your areas). I really need a wardrobe makeover and I hope these pieces would just magically appear in my closet; I'm sure you're all thinking the same! Oh, and that last one with the shorts--so cute for Saturday brunch with Jay! How's your Winter to Spring wardrobe switch doing, my ladies?

Lovely clay illustrations

How amazing are these clay illustrations by Irma Gruenholz? I love them all and I think they would look great hanging on the wall.

Cute alert: amazing animal photos!

These photos by Steve Hoskins are soo amazing! I just love how clear these shots are. And these pets are the absolute cutest! I wish I could have Chico, our chocolate brown Labrador, stay still for even just five seconds so I could take a decent photo. Haha. What pets do you have?

Check out more photos in Mr. Hoskin's site! Warning, some pets are not at all cuddly as the ones I have posted!

Have a lovely Monday everyone! Oh and don't forget to join my Easter giveaway!

On to the woods: an Easter giveaway!

Hello everyone! Oh, it's been quite a while. Been super busy at work and all I did yesterday, aside from hearing mass, was sleep! But I am here and I have a surprise for you (well, it's not really a surprise because the post's title just about gave it away).

In celebration of Easter Sunday, the generous folks over at CSN stores have decided to sponsor my second blog giveaway! Yay! As a lot of you must know, CSN stores have over 200 sites that sell absolutely everything, from kitchen wares, to lovely home decors, to amazing furniture, to cool barstools. They have so much pretty stuff in there, so I suggest you all check it out!

On to the giveaway! Yep, that's it above. It's this woodsy lamp that reminds me of cabin getaways and summer camp. It's so adorable, and it could be yours! All you have to do is:

1. Be a follower and leave a comment here saying what the lamp reminds you of (1 entry)
2. Blog or tweet about this giveaway (+ 2 entries)

Please state in your comment that you're a follower and include your email address; add another comment to say that you have blogged or tweeted and include the link.

The winner will be chosen at random and will be announced on Friday! Good luck!

P.S. Unfortunately, this giveaway is open only to residents of the US and Canada. I'm sorry to my lovely readers from the other continents. Come to think of it, even I cannot win it if it wasn't mine to give. Haha. Oh well, I will definitely have more giveaways in the future!

Crayon carvings

What do you think of these newest carvings by the uber talented Diem Chau? If you have noticed, those are the 12 Chinese Zodiac signs. Such work requires so much patience and talent that I could never imagine myself having! So which sign are you? I'm a tiger!

Check out the close ups here.

P.S. I don't have access to blogger in my office computer anymore that's why I haven't been regularly checking up on your blogs, which I usually do during lunch time. I'm looking forward to reading your blogs during the short break!

Flexitarian Cookbook

I came across the Flexitarian Cookbook while browsing the web last night and I thought I'd share with you lovelies. The cookbook is a compilation of flexible recipes for both vegetarians and carnivores and there are no print copies yet. They are currently raising print funds, with all proceeds going to charity. Check out the video:

500 worst passwords

I dunno if you've seen this photo before, but my friend just sent me this collection of the worst passwords. She says three of hers are included in the list and that she is now changing them! Haha. Any of yours in here?

(via Kate)

P.S. There was a 6.6m earthquake yesterday here in the city. Felt it from the 25th floor of the building, but only mildly so there wasn't even any alarm raised.

Cut & Paste

This stunning collection is a collaboration between Kiki Van Eijk and Secondome director Claudia Pignatale. It is inspired by "an imaginary world where everything is mixed, combined and questioned." I love it and I think that all the pieces, though very diverse, really came together; and that first photo just about captured it. What do you think ladies?

Clock jar

What a pretty piece of work! This clock jar by designer Oren Hetzroni is inspired by his childhood memories of capturing insects in a jar. Don't we all have those memories?

I'm not sure how it works though; I think it's just for display. I like the one with the red/white tablecloth, because it just feels so homey. What do you think?
