Grumpy love

This is one adorable print, don't you think? Reminds us that not everyone is enjoying this month of love. I wish everyone is though, especially now that I've been seeing cupids and hearts everywhere I go. Does any of you share this guy's feelings? I hope not!

Brilliant idea: Cable art design

Amazing, amazing home design by Maisie Maud Broadhead! She made a series of installations created with wire flex and cable fixings to turn a lamp's cable into a fireplace decor/frame! I am really loving this!

That is one looong cable, isn't it? I am so at awe over this design, because it is just so impeccably creative! How about you? Are you as impressed as I am? Would you ever try this at home?

I know, I know, I am a full-grown adult. But aren't you just loving this tree bookshelf by designer Shawn Soh? It's just too cute! And it acts both as decor and furniture, love it!

Panoramic memory drawing

Read about this over at Reuters. Amazing!

Stephen Wiltshire is an artist diagnosed with autism. He is known for doing panoramic memory drawings of various places around the world. He was recently in New York for the last of nine panoramic drawings of the world's major cities.

So this is how it's done. Mr. Wilthsire takes a few-minute helicopter ride over a place/city, and then sketch the entire (detailed!) skyline from memory!

Here's an aerial view of Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey:

Here's LA Skyline:

Here's Toronto Skyline:

And here' Stephen busy drawing the New York Skyline:

Isn't this just mind blowing? He also does other artwork/paintings of various scenes around the world. Check it out here.
