Valentine stamp

Valentine's day is just around the corner so everyone's busy looking around for the perfect cards. Last week, I posted these romantic handmade valentines and I was thinking, if I'm buying handmade, why don't I just hand-make it myself! It's tough work but I think that's what makes it more special. Although having a little assistant, like this cute handmade heart balloon rubber stamp from Cupcake Tree, does not hurt!

Do you make your own valentines or do you just leave it to the experts?

Oh, and check out these lovely printables from The English Muffin.

  2. Loving that stamp! I have a hard time buying cards unless they are super special when I know that I can make some thing pretty rad on my own. But it's definitely hard to resist sometimes :)

  8. Very cool. I'm not very crafty myself and if I give Valentine's cards I like them to be funny (my message can be the mushy part!)

  10. These are so cute! Not making any valentines, but I do have tons and tons of weddings and wedding related events and this might really inspire me to finally make some cards. I even bought some a few months ago and still continue buying cards! Thanks for posting. Love your blog!

  12. Am I horrible to say that I haven't given out valentines to someone other than a boyfriend since Elementary School? I feel so not happy about that now! And I think I'm gonna hand make some this year! Thanks for the encouragement! I think I will be on the look out for adorable stamps :) Perfect idea!

  15. love stamps! i also think it's a good middle of the road solution to loving stationery and paper products but not wanting to be too wasteful, because it allows you to dress up recycled or inexpensive papers.
